This booklet was produced in 1987 and was created by Cantor Mikhal Shiff together with Reb Zalman and is now available here with her consent and appreciation. In Cantor Shiff's words: "Who is the person that is rich? I feel my richness by how many niggunim come to me and through me each year. After I sat with Reb Zalman and tape recorder, I was singing his melodies with my congregation, with my friends, with myself…and feeling the richer from them.
His broad and generous spirit has been a continual inspiration to me and it is the deepest privilege to have worked with him on the songbook, and to be sending these notations out into the world.
May they travel to the four corners and be sung for many generations."
